Cactus Park

If you’re seeking a unique experience in Ayia Napa, let me introduce you to the Cactus Park, a marvel nestled along the rocky Mediterranean shores. Established in 2015, this park, alongside the enchanting Sculpture Park with its Greek myth-inspired sculptures, forms a picturesque duo that captivates both locals and visitors.

What makes it special

Explore a variety of statues and cacti in a free park setting

Enjoy panoramic views of the coast while walking through the park

Capture beautiful photos during your visit

Spread over a vast 20 hectares, the Cactus and Sculpture Parks boast a collection of several thousand cacti, succulents, and other resilient plants. It’s a testament to the community’s spirit, with residents generously contributing to this botanical treasure.

What makes Ayia Napa Cactus Park truly special is its labyrinth of walking paths and quaint benches, perfect for leisurely strolls. However, be mindful of the midday sun, as the park offers little shade. I find the evenings, particularly in spring or late autumn when the plants are in bloom, to be the most magical times to visit.

This park isn’t just about the plants; it’s about the experience of immersing oneself in the natural beauty and artistic heritage of Cyprus. It’s a place where nature and art intertwine, creating an oasis that reflects the heart of Cypriot culture.

Ello says

Wear a hat for sun protection due to limited shade in the park

Plan your visit in the morning or late afternoon when there is no shade available

Take advantage of free entry and parking at both parks

Consider visiting with family as it offers easy paths suitable for prams & buggies

This is a free park with a lot of statues and a few cactuses, nice view on the coast! Takes about 30mins to 1 hour to walk around the entire park and take nice photos 😃

Free park with free parking. With some luck you'll find cactus flowers too. Next to the Sculpture Park.

An ok cactus park. There are several different kinds of cacti. There are no information on what the different cacti are called and some of the bigger cacti had been vandalized. It can be nice to take a stroll here if you're visiting the neighbouring sculpture park.

Very interesting Cactus Park (free entry), right next to the Sculpture Park. Easy family friendly gravel paths suitable for most prams & buggies. There are toilets in the parking area at the entrance, with baby change. There’s no shade, so best to do in the morning or late afternoon.

Nice place for cactus lovers! There is a dirt track all the way, and a lot of different cactus all way around! You can enjoy all that beautiful cactus for free and that is also a great thing. It's located near the center of Agia Napa, and adhere is also a bus station. But there is a one bad thing about this park. There is no lights, so you can visit it only by day.
