Loukkos Tou Mandi Beach is a small rocky beach located west of Ayia Napa Harbour. It is around 150 metres long and offers a mix of pebbles, rocky patches, and limited areas of fine golden sand.

What makes it special

A rocky shoreline offers a distinct change from typical sandy beaches.

Clear sea views and scenery make it a popular spot for photos.

A paved path makes it convenient for runs, walks, and cycling by the sea.

This beach is best suited to visitors who want sea views, a quiet coastal stop, a walk along the promenade, or a relaxed place to enjoy the scenery close to the harbour.

A Small Beach Near Ayia Napa Harbour

Loukkos Tou Mandi sits close to one of Ayia Napa’s most popular areas, making it easy to combine with a harbour walk, boat trip, lunch, or coffee nearby.

The beach has crystal clear water that is usually relatively calm, although waves can sometimes be of average intensity. Because the beach is partly rocky and pebbly, it may not be the best choice for visitors looking for a wide sandy beach.

Walking, Running, and Cycling

One of the main advantages of Loukkos Tou Mandi is the pedestrian path running along the coast. This path connects Ayia Napa Harbour with Vathia Gonia Beach, making the area ideal for walking, jogging, or cycling.

Early morning is a particularly good time for a run or bike ride, while sunset is lovely for a slower walk and photos.

Facilities

Facilities at Loukkos Tou Mandi Beach include toilets, changing rooms, sunbeds, umbrellas, and water sports facilities.

There are also accommodation options, restaurants, and a kiosk or convenience store in the surrounding area.

Lifeguards

Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are usually stationed at the beach from April to October.

Visitors should still take care when entering the water, especially around rocky sections.

Access and Parking

Access to Loukkos Tou Mandi Beach is easy by foot, bike, or car. Parking facilities are available nearby.

Its location close to Ayia Napa Harbour makes it a convenient stop if you are already exploring the coastal area.

Why Visit Loukkos Tou Mandi Beach?

Visit Loukkos Tou Mandi Beach if you want a small coastal spot close to Ayia Napa Harbour, with clear water, photo opportunities, and easy access to the seaside path.

People are giving this beach less than 5 starts due to it not actually having sand (or very little). However, you should certainly check it out. Such a stunning park of the town to visit, and even better if you’re going for a nice early run.I’ve been for a few runs up and down here, stopped for a while just to take on the views and even rode some electric bikes along the boardwalk…so much fun!Location is perfect to relax and take in the beauty of Cyprus, along with some stunning photos to boot.Check. It. Outs

Not so beautiful beach, yet a nice place for swimming. Lots of small waves for those who like.

Quite a nice beach, but compared to other beaches in Agia Napa it is not the best selectionLacks the beach bar found in other beaches like Nissi BeachAnd lacks the swimming quality of other beaches such as Makronissos due to the many rocks

Not my favourite beach as it was really rocky, slippery which is dangerous.
