What a great place! We walked by yesterday looking for a place to eat and saw this gem, so we walked right in. You need reservations but we were lucky there was a no show so we got a table inside tight away. The food was fresh and excellent. Lots of lovely choices, including lamb shank, an island specialty. The house lemonade was very refreshing too. The cherry on the cake however was the dance show, with a wonderful finale involving throwing plates and napkins and bringing the diners to the dance floor. Can’t wait to come back! 😍😍

We came here in our first and last night. Service was great, we were welcomed by the manager with some complimentary shots of some wine (commandaria) which we ended up liking- just what we needed after a long day of travelling to Larnaca from London. The live music was a plus and the employees are very accommodating and friendly. Food was great, salad and bread was so fresh. My boyfriend came back for the lamb chops on our last night and we were served by the guy with glasses (Aby).

I recently had an amazing dining experience at Opa’s Tavern that I just have to share! The highlight of my meal was the meat platter—it was a generous assortment of perfectly cooked meats, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. To top it off, I indulged in their delicious sweet apple pie, which was the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, a true dessert lover's dream. What really made the evening special was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Abby. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was flawless. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a delight, enhanced by the live music that created a vibrant yet cozy setting. It felt like the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal.

IT WAS AMAZING! I loved the food, it had so much flavour and tasted very authentic and rich. The waiters were so sweet and asked us how long we would like to wait between each course. The vibe at the restaurant was amazing, the music, the decorations and everything made the whole experience so good. I would recommmend comming on a monday, wednesday or friday to get the full experience with a traditional dance and a show where they break plates to avoid bad luck. Make sure to make a reservation because there is always a lot of people who wants to eat here.

Authentic place. Nothing fancy or special. Clean, good music, fast service and the food was delicious. The sea food plate for two was really tasty and really big, definitely worth it. The home made baclava with vanilla ice cream, a delight. Been there more than once and totally worth it!!

Opa’s Restaurant is truly a culinary gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm ambiance that perfectly complements the delightful flavors awaiting you. The menu features an impressive array of dishes, each beautifully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I started with the mezze platter, which was a vibrant assortment of dips and breads—perfect for sharing. For the main course, I opted, which was incredibly tender! The service was impeccable; our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, providing great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're looking for a cozy dinner or celebrating a special occasion, Opa’s Restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend! Thank you Abby! If I could give more stars I would!

We had a very good experience — we were welcomed with live music. My girlfriend and I had the meat meze, and I can say it was really good, everything was perfect. The portions are generous, my girlfriend and I can usually eat a lot, but we couldn’t finish this one.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. After we danced the Sirtaki, the staff treated us to a complimentary ouzo - such a nice and authentic touch!
