Nestled along the bustling Cape Greco Avenue in Protaras, Mr. Cod stands as a testament to the love and dedication of Pete, a Bristol native who’s brought the authentic taste of British fish and chips to Cyprus. Having known Pete since our Bristol days, his journey from the fish and chip shop in Bristol to opening the first proper fish frying range in our area has been nothing short of remarkable.

Mr. Cod’s Menu

The menu at Mr. Cod is a delightful mix of traditional and modern. The star of the show is, of course, the North Atlantic cod, served in generous 340 gsm portions, enveloped in a secret family recipe batter and fried in the finest vegetable palm oil. But there’s more to Pete’s culinary repertoire. From the succulent home-made spare ribs marinated in BBQ sauce to the versatile selection of Pukka Pies, and not forgetting the delightful spit roast chicken, there’s something for every palate.

Seafood Selection

Seafood lovers will revel in the array of options, including Kalamari Rings, Fish Cakes, and the must-try Fish Platter.

For the Little Ones

The Kids Menu, with smaller portions of cod and other child-friendly options like Chicken Nuggets and Fish Fingers, ensures that the little ones are not left out.

On the Side

Accompaniments include Mushy Peas, Curry Sauce, and Spring Rolls, among others, and for dessert, Pete’s Homemade Apple Pie is a must-try.

Special Offers

Mr. Cod offers a 10% discount for takeaways and dine-in meals, with an option for a complimentary bottle of house wine for dine-in customers ordering two large cod and chips.
