A Symbol of Maritime Devotion

The construction of Agios Nikolaos Chapel was inspired by the local community’s deep respect for their patron saint, especially those involved in marine professions in Paralimni. Their devotion culminated in this beautiful sanctuary, ideally positioned by the sea, overseeing the harbour where their boats are moored. Its architecture, characterized by its small, whitewashed structure and striking blue dome, is reminiscent of the iconic chapels found on the Aegean islands.

A Haven in Protaras

Protaras, renowned for its crystal-clear, sky-blue waters and sandy beaches, is a highly sought-after tourist destination, especially appealing to couples and families seeking tranquility.

Perfect for Special Occasions

The chapel’s stunning seaside setting makes it an idyllic location for beach weddings and christenings. Its quaint and intimate ambiance, combined with the breathtaking natural backdrop, creates a truly memorable experience for any special occasion.

Lovely little Church in a straing location right by the sea with lots of building works going on around. I saw this Church pictured on Instagram, which makes it look nicer than it actually is, but it's still a lovely church and worth a visit if you're in the area. The Church is really cared for and is beautifully painted in traditional white and blue. The inside is very beautiful, ornate and very calm.

A small but beautiful chapel by the seafront dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Saint that protects seamen and everyone that has got to do with the sea. The chapel was open and they have some amazing frescoes around it.

Lovely little small church located right next to the beach is great for photos during the sunset. Also, a really beautiful interior is kept nice. It's worth a visit if you're around the area with the turquoise waters next to the Paralimni marina, which is being built.

Beautiful setting, stunning church against the backdrop of the sea! Lovely walk down the sea front in the same area with lots to see and restaurants with great views of the ocean/beach to enjoy whilst you eat. Facilities on the beach to rent an umbrella and sunbeds if you want however there's also space for you to put own towels and umbrellas down.
