The venue has a large indoor bar, covered and open terraces, a sunny garden bar area, and quieter seating spaces around the back. It is a good option for afternoon drinks, casual meals, live entertainment, and relaxed nights out in Protaras.

A Pub Just Off the Protaras Strip

TeeJay’s is close to Protaras Avenue, also known as Hotels Road, but sits slightly away from the busiest part of the strip. This gives it a convenient location while still feeling a little more tucked away.

The front terrace is popular during the afternoon and evening, while the indoor area is useful on cooler nights or when guests want to watch sports. At the start and end of the season, the pub may also provide blankets for chilly evenings.

Homemade dishes are a key part of the menu. Popular pub classics include steak pie, cottage pie, chilli con carne, homemade burgers, chicken curry, and pies.

Pub Classics and Burgers

The pub classics section includes hearty dishes such as homemade steak pie and cottage pie. The steak pie is made with prime topside beef, while the cottage pie follows a family recipe.

Burgers are another strong part of the menu. Options may include a gourmet burger, Greek burger, TeeJay’s special burger, and Jack Daniel’s burger with cheese, tomato, lettuce, Jack Daniel’s sauce, chips, onion rings, and coleslaw.

Grills, Seafood, and Lighter Options

The grill section includes options such as BBQ chicken melt, pork chop, gammon steak, chicken tikka kebab, and other grilled favourites.

Seafood options may include fish and chips, swordfish, scampi, grilled salmon fillet, and fish fingers for children.

For lighter choices, visitors can choose salads, sandwiches, wraps, jacket potatoes, noodles, or smaller snacks.

Some dishes may also be available in smaller portions if requested.

Desserts

Dessert options may include mixed ice cream, lava cake, homemade apple pie, and the Black and White dessert, made with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, hard chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.

Live Music and Entertainment

Entertainment is a major part of TeeJay’s. The pub offers live music during the season, with a professional sound system, lighting, and stage setup.

Entertainment usually starts later in the evening, often around 21:30, depending on the schedule.

There is also a pool table, darts board, backgammon sets, and playing cards available.

As someone who travels a lot this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, that’s why I’d leave this comprehensive review. Food: The food was just amazing, they have a large menu with lots of options and all the things we tried were really tasty Drinks: The cocktails were really cheap compared to places around but don’t let that fool you into thinking they will compromise on quality, they don’t. They are large and tasty, great value for your money. They also have a great selection of beers, gins, rums etc. Service: The staff were oh so lovely, super friendly and have the biggest smile. Live music: There was live music when we were here. It was very nice. The atmosphere was really nice and the music wasn’t too loud that you can’t have a conversation but loud enough that you can enjoy it

If you want a good pint or drink, nice comfort food at all good prices and served by the most friendly staff this is the place to go. We went here on numerous occasions, sometimes for food but always for a drink and a chat. The owners are wonderful, down to earth and hard working couple as are all the family and staff. These are the type of places that you just want to comeback to, and we will. All the food we had was wonderful, loved the curry.

The entertainment was brilliant Friday and Saturday evening. Hands down the best along the strip, singers that are great compared to any tribute act any evening! The service was great too, happy friendly staff. Food was tasty too. I was highly recommended going here.

Genuinely the nicest draught Keo I had. Service was attentive without being invasive. Nice place tucked away slightly which gave it a warm atmosphere and good ambience. Stood out for me.

Didn't have food so can't comment. Came in for end of night drinks. Great entertainment. Staff attentive and discreetly circulating so easy to order fresh drinks with barely any wait time. Drinks tasty and alcoholic, as well as being reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!
