Located within the Paphos Archaeological Park, specifically within the complex housing the renowned Paphos Mosaics, is the House of Theseus, also known as the Villa of Theseus. This Roman villa, constructed in the 2nd century, boasts an impressive number of rooms, exceeding 100. However, the main highlight of this structure lies in its galleries and mosaic floors, which span various time periods. The oldest mosaic, dating back to the 3rd century, portrays the mythical King of Athens engaged in battle against a minotaur.

Upon closer inspection, one can observe that the mosaic has undergone several revisions, likely due to damage caused by historical earthquakes that shook Cyprus. Additionally, frescoes added at a later date depict the ancient Greek sea god and goddess, Poseidon and Amphitrite, as well as a young Achilles. The House of Theseus is situated in Nea Paphos, Paphos, Cyprus.
