Adonis Baths Waterfalls, located approximately 2 kilometers from Kili village in the Paphos district, are renowned for their exceptional beauty and secluded surroundings. To access the baths, one can take either the Tala or Akoursos road, both about 12 kilometers away from Paphos. Travelers using bicycles or motorcycles may find it more convenient to take the Tala Road.

The waterfall was formed by the water from the surrounding ravines, which over time eroded the soil, creating a small lake. During the summer, many people are drawn to such places with cool water to relax and refresh themselves. Some adventurous individuals even climb the rock with ropes and jump into the lake, while others prefer to dive from a lower height.

Swimming in the baths, beneath the waterfall, is believed to have youth-preserving effects for women and to strengthen men. Adjacent to the baths, a statue of Adonis and Aphrodite can be found. A message accompanying the statue states that infertile women who wish to conceive should touch Adonis’s appendage for a chance at having many children thereafter.

According to Greek mythology, Adonis and Aphrodite had numerous offspring at this location, and it is believed that the people of Paphos are descended from these two lovers. Adonis Baths was their preferred place to spend time together and was also where Adonis tragically met his demise. He was fatally wounded by a man disguised as a wild boar and returned to the baths, where he died in the arms of Aphrodite. Overwhelmed by grief, Aphrodite pleaded for him to be sent back every six months.

Adonis Baths Waterfalls hold both historical and mythological significance, making them a popular destination for visitors seeking natural beauty and cultural exploration.

Visiting this place is truly a delightful experience, but please note that there is an admission fee. Additionally, it is important to be well-informed about the directions and operating hours of the theme park.

Loved the place. Must go if you are in Paphos.

Stunning! Free parking and we paid 15 euro per person to enter the grounds. Theres a lot of statues and beautiful scenery so plenty of places to take pictures and explore. Theres also a changing room, cafe, toilets, and a museum. Theres the main waterfall and area to swim then you can go to the 2nd waterfall and swimming area which is much smaller and was quieter. I’d recommend going in the morning as it was quiet, but was starting to get busy as we left.

The road to the waterfalls is adventurous but offers a great view. The waterfalls themselves are worth visiting. The second waterfall requires good shoes and it is easy to get wet shoes.
The 10€ entrance fee is enourmous for Cyprus, where we never paid more than 5€. The statues are mediocre but add to the athmosphere.

Serene and amazing, highly recommend!!
Definitely recommend going through a group tour as the access into the falls is off road so mainly easily accessible by jeep or quad/buggies. Went through Golden Rides which was a 5hr tour with the falls as the last stop. You have to take cash with you (€10 for entry fee) as they don’t take card payments. Wasn’t busy at all the time we went between 14:00-15:00 and the water isn’t too deep either!

Ok for an hour or 2 but feels very fake

10 euros - not worth it. Road - not good for your own car, only if you rent and don't care about the car. Two waterfalls and place to swim. Not really impressive place as it’s advertised

Beautiful waterfall.
It was very busy.
Opportunity to have a drink there.

Nice place, but the road is not good for all cars. We let our car behind and walked the last 2-3 km. Ticket price is 10 euro in 2024

Very cold water but VERY pretty view. The water starts being quite shallow (waist height) and it goes lower as you move towards the waterfall
