This update comes as a result of the 8th and 9th Ayia Napa International Sculpture Symposiums, events that have brought together talented artists from around the world to contribute to the park’s ever-evolving landscape. The latest installation, initiated on February 26th, includes 25 unique sculptures that reflect a wide array of styles, themes, and artistic visions.
Among the newly introduced pieces are “KISS 1” & “KISS 2” by French artist Coralie Quinciey, alongside “MEDUSA” by Bahman Chegeni from Iran, “HYPNOSIS” by Lyudmyla Mysko from Ukraine, and “HARP” by Sergii Oleshko, also from Ukraine. These additions not only enrich the park’s visual appeal but also its cultural narrative, offering visitors fresh perspectives and insights into contemporary sculptural art.
The installation event was graced by the presence of significant figures such as Christakis Pittas, president of the “AROMA” Association of Ayia Napa – Friends of the Sculpture Park, and Maria Tofini Tsantila, Cultural Officer of the Municipality of Ayia Napa, highlighting the community’s strong support for the arts.
