Located at the entrance of Paphos Archaeological Park, adjacent to Paphos Harbour and near Paphos Castle, you will find the Basilica of Panagia Limeniotissa. It is one of the first historical ruins you will encounter in your exploration of the park. Conveniently situated next to a car park, with various shops and cafes within walking distance, it serves as a popular starting point for visitors.

While the other ancient ruins within the vast park often steal the spotlight, this 5th-century basilica is a remarkable example of early Christian architecture from Cyprus’ Byzantine era. As you wander through the grounds of the ruins, you can observe its three aisles, rows of standing and fallen marble columns, and catch glimpses of its mosaic floors.
